Use an honest qualification matrix to decide between authorities, DIY, a free agency and paid independent support.

    Start with this qualification matrix

If you have a nursing qualification, can share core records and face a real recognition, offer or relocation decision, the €99 assessment may fit. If you only need a public form, use the authority. If you want one employer to recruit and fund the process, compare free agencies. If you need an appeal or legal representation, use an Austrian lawyer.

    Nationality changes residence—not professional standards

EU/EEA/Swiss and third-country applicants can face different residence and professional-recognition routes. A third-country diploma will generally involve nostrification, while qualifying EU/EEA/Swiss education generally follows recognition rules. Citizenship, place of qualification and any prior EU recognition must be assessed separately.

Profession and diploma determine the first question

DGKP, Pflegefachassistenz and Pflegeassistenz are distinct regulated professions with different education and competence profiles. A caregiver certificate is not automatically an Austrian nursing qualification. The useful first question is not simply 'Can I work in Austria?' but 'Which Austrian role is the correct comparison for my documented education?'

    German level changes timing

German is needed for safe practice and professional registration, but recognition of the professional qualification and proof of language are distinct issues. Candidates at B1 or B2 may be closer to employment readiness than beginners, yet the accepted evidence and employer expectations must still be verified. A consultant cannot waive a statutory or employer language requirement.

    Budget and service choice

Choose €99 for a diagnostic review and written plan; choose a larger package only when the defined execution work justifies it. Keep official fees, translations, exams, courses, travel and housing separate from consulting fees. If €99 would strain the essential relocation budget, start with official resources and the free eligibility check.

    Who should not book

Do not book expecting a guaranteed job, visa, recognition result, shortened authority processing time or legal representation. Do not use consulting instead of urgent legal advice. Candidates without a qualification, documents or defined Austrian goal may gain more by researching official training and career routes first.

    The honest decision

Move to Austria is most useful when independent sequencing and document clarity are worth more to you than the €99 fee. A free agency may be better when you accept its employer network and written conditions. DIY may be better when the route is clear. The right choice is the one whose incentives, scope, cost and limitations you understand before committing.
